age groups

5

Each with its own time slot, capacity and membership.

September to June

10 months

The timetable has an end date, and in July it generates nothing.

How it works

Five age groups, each with its own capacity. In June, the timetable stops on its own.

A timetable with an end date, and one for next season

Classes are generated twelve weeks ahead and never past the end date. Next season’s timetable sits alongside with its own start date, and neither affects the other.

Closure days, each with a reason

Under holidays and closures, you add the date and the reason: Christmas, half-term, a weekend seminar. No classes are generated on those dates.

Each membership covers only its own classes

On each plan, you tick the class types it includes. With only the children’s groups ticked, a booking for an adult class is declined straight away, not at the door.

Attendance is taken on the mat

The coach opens class mode and taps each name as students arrive. Each student’s file shows classes this month, in the last 30 days and over twelve weeks.

Before you open

Your first week. About 23 minutes.

These are steps from the setup list your dashboard shows once the space exists. The times are the ones the app shows.

Start with your space set up

On an empty space, one button on the dashboard creates this. You can edit or delete all of it.

For this kind of space, the button does not create classes yet. You add your own in the class types step.

Sample plans: Unlimited membership (€55), 3 classes a week (€45) and 10-class pack (€70, 90 days).

  1. Create one class per age group

    2 min

Under-10s, under-14s, cadets and adults, each with its own capacity.

  2. Set up the season

    5 min

A timetable with a start and an end date. Nothing is generated after it ends, and term breaks go in as closures.

  3. One membership per age group

    3 min

Each plan includes only its own classes. The children’s membership cannot book an adult class.

  4. Bring in your students

    3 min

From a CSV list. Young children do not need an account: your team books for them and marks attendance in class.

  5. Connect your payout account

    10 min

Memberships go straight into the academy’s account. Until then, you record payments by hand on each student’s file.

How you sell. And how you get paid.

On Pro, members pay by card or SEPA Direct Debit. The money goes into your own account, and Rummo charges no commission.

On Lite, you record payments by hand on each member’s file.

  • A membership per age groupon paid plans

  • Seminars with guest instructorson paid plans

  • Open maton paid plans

Visitors buy the class and take a spot on the mat like any other booking.

  • Waiverson paid plans

Signed on their phone before the first booking, once you add your own.

What exists today, and what does not yet.

Everything above works today. These things do not, yet.

  • Belts and gradings

There are no belts or gradings in the product. Each student’s file shows attendance, and grading decisions are tracked elsewhere.

  • Parents booking for children

Each account belongs to one person. Parents cannot book or pay on a child’s behalf: your team does it at the desk.

  • Invoices to your members(coming soon)

Each payment is recorded, but invoices are not issued here yet. You invoice from your own accounting software.

  • The app in English

The app itself is in Portuguese for now. This website is in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Up to 10 active members, with no card and no time limit.

  • Pro

    from€29

A month + VAT, up to 30 active members. The price goes up in tiers, and your tier changes when you change it. While founding places last, it costs from €19 for the first 6 months.

To move up, the owner starts a 14-day Pro trial from Settings. A card is only needed before the trial ends. Pro also brings the AI agent, which answers questions about your space and proposes what to do.

Questions before you start

What does Rummo do for martial arts schools?
Rummo is booking and management software for martial arts schools. Each group has its own time and capacity. The timetable ends with the season, and term breaks are closed on the calendar.
I am opening in January, mid-season. How does the timetable work?
It starts on the date you set and ends on the one you choose, for example in June. In September you set up next season’s timetable alongside.
Where do I record belts and gradings?
You cannot, yet. There are no belts or gradings in the product. The student file gives you attendance: this month, the last 30 days, in total and over twelve weeks.
Can parents enrol and pay for their children?
No. Each account belongs to one person. Instead, your team creates the student at the desk, books for them, and records the payment on their file.
In a class of twenty-four children without phones, who takes attendance?
The coach. They open class mode and tap each name as students arrive. The class cannot be closed with attendance unconfirmed.
I run seminars with a guest instructor. How do I charge for them?
As an event, with a capacity and a ticket, or as a one-off class outside the timetable. If the “Seminar” class type is in no plan, it is paid separately.
