How it works

From a connected account to money received.
Without matching bank statements.

  1. Connect your payout account

You open your space’s account with the payment processor without leaving Rummo. From then on, money goes straight into it.

  2. Charge from the plan or the member’s file

A renewing plan issues the charge on the day the period ends. If it is still unpaid, email reminders follow after one, three and seven days. From a member’s file, you can charge any one-off amount.

  3. Members pay the way they prefer

By card or SEPA Direct Debit, on their phone. Or at the front desk, and you record the payment yourself.

  4. See what came in and what is missing

The finance dashboard shows what you collected this month, what is outstanding, and your account balance and payouts. Every payment counts once.

In your week

You already do this.
Here it is the same work, in one place.

The money is the same. What changes is how long it takes to know where it is.

  • Knowing what is outstanding

Without a systemThe bank statement is matched against the member list.

In RummoIt is in one list, with the amount and a button to charge.

  • Reminding late payers

Without a systemA message, whenever someone remembers.

In RummoEmails go out after one, three and seven days, and “Remind” sends another.

  • Taking payment at the desk

Without a systemIt goes in a notebook until month end.

In RummoYou record the payment, and it joins the same list.

  • Answering your accountant

Without a systemThe whole month is put together by hand.

In RummoEvery payment has a person, a date and an amount, and the invoice attaches to it.

With the agent

Or ask the agent.
It answers with your space’s numbers.

It comes on Pro and Max. Whatever it proposes only runs when you press Confirm.

  • “How are the finances?”

A report with charts: money received this month and last, and the last six months. Then what is outstanding and where the money came from.

  • “Who has overdue payments?”

The list, from the oldest payment to the newest. With the amount, and whether the person has been reminded.

  • “How do I charge someone a one-off amount?”

Where the one-off charge sits on the member’s file, and a button to open Members.

  • ProposesRemind people who oweEach person gets an email about their oldest outstanding payment.
What is included

4 things working today.
1 on the free plan.

Limits

What this part does not do

When a limit is lifted, it comes off this list.

  • Invoices to your members(coming soon)

Rummo does not issue invoices yet. You invoice from your own software and attach the PDF to the payment.

  • Automatic card debits

Payment methods are not stored. Every charge, renewals included, is paid by the member on their phone.

  • Before your account is set up

You can take payments before your account is fully set up. The money is held by the payment processor until you add your bank details.

Questions about payments & finance

Which plan is Payments & finance on, and what does it cost?
Pro and Max. Pro starts at €29 a month + VAT, and the price scales with active members. You can try it for 14 days with no card. On Lite, payments are recorded by hand, and the list of outstanding balances still works.
Can I start on Lite and move to Pro later?
Yes, and nothing is lost. The owner starts a 14-day Pro trial from the Plan tab in Settings. Paid features switch on straight away, and a card is only needed before the 14 days are up.
Can I take payments from members today?
Yes. You open your space’s payout account with the payment processor without leaving Rummo. From then on, members pay by card or SEPA Direct Debit.
What does Rummo take per transaction?
Nothing. Processing fees are the payment processor’s, and the finance screen shows the fee on each payment. Rummo adds no percentage of its own.
What about members who pay at the desk?
They pay at the desk, and you record it: cash, bank transfer, cheque or other. It joins the same list as online payments.
Could a member be charged twice by mistake?
No. If a bank confirmation arrives twice, the payment still counts once, and automated tests check it.
Can I refund a payment?
Yes. A refund or a voided charge always asks for a reason, which stays on the payment record.

Connect your account and collect the first membership.
The money goes into your own account.

Even with payments recorded by hand, the list of outstanding balances works from day one.

Lite is free up to 10 active members, with no card and no time limit. Pro comes with a 14-day trial, also with no card.
