Refunds and cancellation
How to cancel, what gets refunded, and how quickly.
In force since
1.Who to ask
If you subscribed to Rummo for your space, the contract is with us and this page applies to you.
If you train at a gym that uses Rummo, the membership you paid for is the GYM's, not ours. Refunds, cancellations and plan changes are asked of the gym, which is who has the contract with you. Rummo is the tool, not the seller.
2.Cancelling
You cancel in the application, under Configurações → Plano da Rummo → Cancelar o plano (the application is in Portuguese). No phone call and no email to anyone.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for. Until then the service keeps working in full, and the plan can be resumed in the same place, with the «Retomar o plano» button.
There is no minimum term and no penalty.
3.During the trial
The 14-day trial is free. Cancelling during it produces no charge, and there is nothing to refund because nothing was charged.
A card is requested at the start, but it is only used if the trial reaches its end without cancellation.
4.After a charge
Outside the cases below, a period already paid for is not refunded. The service stays available until the end of that period.
5.When we always refund in full
We refund the whole amount, by the same payment method, when:
- a)The charge was duplicated.
- b)The charge was for an amount other than the price in force.
- c)The charge was made after a valid cancellation.
- d)The service was unavailable through our fault for a period that makes the subscription useless, under Decree-Law 84/2021.
6.Right of withdrawal
Anyone contracting as a consumer has 14 days to withdraw without giving a reason, under Decree-Law 24/2014.
Since the trial is 14 days and free, in practice nobody is charged within that period.
The right is exercised by an unequivocal statement to hello@rummo.app.
7.Timing
A refund request goes to hello@rummo.app and is answered within 14 days.
Once granted, the refund is made within 14 days by the same payment method. How long the bank takes to credit it is not up to us.
8.If you disagree with the answer
There is an electronic complaints book at https://www.livroreclamacoes.pt/inicio.
In a consumer dispute you may turn to CNIACC — Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo, at https://www.cniacc.pt, or to the consumer arbitration centre for the area where you live, where there is one.
